Who Operates This Website
RuralWaterHQ is an informational website for private-well, water-treatment, and septic-system homeowners. You can contact the site at contact@ruralwaterhq.com.
Information You Choose to Send
If you use the contact form, the site asks for your email address and message. The form also includes anti-spam fields that are not intended for normal visitor use. Please avoid sending sensitive personal, financial, medical, or emergency information through the form.
Some articles currently allow comments. If you leave a comment, WordPress may collect the information shown in the comment form, your IP address, and your browser user-agent string to help with moderation and spam prevention.
Automatically Collected Technical Information
When you visit the site, routine technical information may be processed by WordPress, the hosting provider, LiteSpeed Cache, and Google Site Kit. This can include IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps, referring pages, cookies or similar browser identifiers, and server or security logs.
How This Information Is Used
Information is used to respond to messages, operate and secure the website, prevent spam, troubleshoot errors, improve page performance, understand general site usage, and maintain the content and tools on the site.
Contact Form Handling
The contact form is provided through WPForms Lite. The confirmed public form includes an email field and a message field. Submissions may be emailed to the site contact/admin mailbox. No public newsletter signup or marketing subscription is currently offered on the Contact page, and no separate WordPress-stored entry archive was confirmed during this review.
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to read, respond to, and manage the request unless a longer record is reasonably needed for site administration, abuse prevention, or troubleshooting.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The site may use cookies or similar technologies for core WordPress functions, logged-in administration, comment convenience options, form spam prevention, caching/performance features, and Google analytics measurement. If you are not logged in and do not submit a form or comment, the data collected is generally technical and usage-related rather than information you directly type into the site.
Third-Party Services Confirmed on the Site
- Hosting and server infrastructure: the site is hosted through Hostinger-related WordPress tools and standard server logging may occur.
- LiteSpeed Cache: used for caching, optimization, lazy loading, and performance delivery.
- Google Site Kit / Google tag: the public site loads a Google tag through googletagmanager.com and includes Google Search Console verification. Google may process analytics and performance-related information according to its own policies.
- WPForms Lite: used for the Contact page form and form anti-spam handling.
Mailchimp-related WordPress plugins are active, but no public newsletter signup or email-marketing workflow was confirmed on the reviewed pages. If newsletter or marketing signup forms are introduced, this policy will be updated before they are used.
Affiliate Links
RuralWaterHQ does not currently use tracked affiliate links or earn commissions from links on the site. If affiliate links or affiliate tracking technologies are introduced later, the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure will be updated before those links are published.
Data Sharing
Personal information is not sold. Limited information may be processed by service providers that help operate the site, including the hosting provider, WordPress plugins used by the site, Google services used for measurement and verification, and email systems used to receive or respond to contact messages.
Retention
No single fixed retention period is configured for every type of information. Contact messages may be retained while they are useful for responding or administration. Comments, if left on articles, may remain with their metadata unless removed. Server, cache, analytics, and security logs are retained according to the settings and normal practices of the relevant service providers.
Visitor Choices and Requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you have voluntarily sent to the site by emailing contact@ruralwaterhq.com. Some information may need to be retained when reasonably required for site administration, security, abuse prevention, or technical records.
Security
The site uses ordinary technical measures such as HTTPS, WordPress access controls, caching and hosting infrastructure, updates, and administrative safeguards. No website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the site configuration changes. The last-updated date above will be changed when the policy is materially revised.
